According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, North Dakota added the highest number of jobs to the federal government executive, legislative and general government industry (210), followed by Tennessee (107), and Oklahoma (80).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-204), followed by Missouri (-157), and Texas (-144).
