According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Kentucky added the highest number of jobs to the federal government executive, legislative and general government industry (65), followed by New York (32), and Pennsylvania (21).

On the other hand, Virginia added the least number of jobs (-213), followed by California (-187), and Missouri (-123).
