According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the federal government executive, legislative and general government industry (25), followed by Florida (17), and Maryland (14).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-167), followed by Utah (-71), and Missouri (-71).
