According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2020, Kansas added the highest number of jobs to the federal government space research and technology industry (), followed by Nevada (), and North Dakota ().

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-15), followed by Maryland (-4), and Colorado (-2).
