According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2021, West Virginia added the highest number of jobs to the federal government space research and technology industry (2), followed by Arkansas (0), and Connecticut (0).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-68), followed by Alabama (-53), and Maryland (-41).
