According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2021, Mississippi added the highest number of jobs to the federal government space research and technology industry (3), followed by California (1), and Kentucky (1).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-12), followed by Virginia (-9), and Florida (-7).
