According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2020, Maryland added the highest number of jobs to the federal government national security and international affairs industry (174), followed by Virginia (142), and California (125).

On the other hand, Montana added the least number of jobs (-34), followed by North Dakota (-26), and Louisiana (-26).
