According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the federal government national security and international affairs industry (397), followed by Virginia (355), and Texas (217).

On the other hand, South Carolina added the least number of jobs (-29), followed by New Hampshire (-23), and Idaho (-14).
