According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2021, New Mexico added the highest number of jobs to the federal government national security and international affairs industry (41), followed by Montana (31), and Washington (29).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-173), followed by Oregon (-143), and California (-135).
