According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2021, Iowa added the highest number of jobs to the federal government national security and international affairs industry (37), followed by Oregon (17), and Louisiana (16).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-565), followed by Virginia (-531), and Texas (-386).
