  5. St. Joseph: 10,198
  6. Elkhart: 8,119
  7. Hendricks: 8,118
  8. Johnson: 6,581
  9. Porter: 6,453
  10. Vanderburgh: 6,419

The following were the rankings of the top 10 Indiana counties based on the number of Local Government jobs added to All Industries in January 2019:

  1. Adams: 56
  2. Marion: 56
  3. Clark: 55
  4. Fulton: 33
  5. Crawford: 26
  6. Daviess: 24
  7. Jefferson: 13
  8. Huntington: 10
  9. Clay: 0
  10. Franklin: -2
