According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2020, Alaska added 7,554 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Alaska counties, Matanuska-Susitna added the highest number of jobs (1,876), followed by Bethel (389), and Ketchikan Gateway (253).
