According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, California added 1,789,410 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among California counties, Orange added the highest number of jobs (11,415), followed by Alameda (2,054), and Contra Costa (1,679).
