According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Louisiana added 3,057 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Louisiana counties, Orleans added the highest number of jobs (1,940), followed by Jefferson Davis (148), and Calcasieu (48).
