According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2019, Louisiana added -6,286 number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry. Among Louisiana counties, Lafourche added the highest number of jobs (294), followed by Ouachita (277), and Calcasieu (256).
