United States Payroll Employment By State for The Local Government Service Providing Industry in February, 2019

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (22,192), followed by California (10,050), and Illinois (8,452).

On the other hand, Maine added the least number of jobs (-467), followed by Hawaii (-196), and Arkansas (26).
