United States Payroll Employment By State for The Local Government Service Providing Industry in March, 2019

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (21,126), followed by Illinois (7,490), and Texas (5,637).

On the other hand, Louisiana added the least number of jobs (-937), followed by Alaska (-450), and New Jersey (-228).
