United States Payroll Employment By State for The Local Government Service Providing Industry in May, 2019

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Illinois added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (11,484), followed by California (9,556), and Ohio (6,775).

On the other hand, Wisconsin added the least number of jobs (-2,280), followed by New Jersey (-1,556), and Hawaii (44).
