According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (43,978), followed by Texas (26,535), and Ohio (16,028).
On the other hand, Nevada added the least number of jobs (-1,319), followed by Hawaii (-264), and Rhode Island (-68).
