According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (134,341), followed by New Jersey (121,410), and Illinois (53,651).
On the other hand, Hawaii added the least number of jobs (-636), followed by Delaware (1,265), and Mississippi (1,682).
