According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (17,743), followed by Florida (12,579), and Hawaii (100).
On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-17,961), followed by Illinois (-9,427), and Michigan (-7,793).
