United States Payroll Employment By State for The Local Government Service Providing Industry in March, 2020

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2020, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (15,424), followed by Michigan (4,043), and Illinois (3,524).

On the other hand, Arizona added the least number of jobs (-2,968), followed by Wisconsin (-2,196), and Utah (-1,356).
