United States Payroll Employment By State for The Local Government Service Providing Industry in January, 2021

According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government service-providing industry (19,941), followed by Delaware (-81), and Hawaii (-141).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-18,773), followed by North Carolina (-16,448), and Illinois (-14,957).
