According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2020, Georgia added the highest number of jobs to the local government utilities industry (), followed by California (298), and Indiana (55).

On the other hand, Maine added the least number of jobs (-86), followed by Texas (-75), and Florida (-69).
