According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2021, South Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the local government water, sewage and other systems industry (149), followed by Ohio (77), and Kentucky (37).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-128), followed by California (-96), and Pennsylvania (-82).
