According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the local government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (104), followed by California (77), and Massachusetts (25).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-177), followed by Oklahoma (-20), and New Mexico (-18).
