According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2019, Ohio added the highest number of jobs to the local government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (336), followed by Massachusetts (215), and Missouri (120).

On the other hand, Rhode Island added the least number of jobs (-7), followed by Nebraska (-2), and South Dakota (-1).
