According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2021, Maine added the highest number of jobs to the local government heavy and civil engineering construction industry (58), followed by Oregon (41), and California (38).

On the other hand, New Mexico added the least number of jobs (-34), followed by Wisconsin (-32), and Massachusetts (-30).
