According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in October, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the local government highway, street, and bridge construction industry (94), followed by Vermont (22), and South Dakota (3).

On the other hand, Illinois added the least number of jobs (-73), followed by Wisconsin (-46), and Connecticut (-44).
