According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government transit and ground passenger transportation industry (63), followed by Iowa (42), and Alabama (32).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-271), followed by Missouri (-234), and Texas (-58).
