According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Delaware added the highest number of jobs to the local government elementary and secondary schools industry (), followed by New York (3,952), and Washington (1,833).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-7,293), followed by Indiana (-5,467), and Illinois (-2,462).
