According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in February, 2019, Texas added the highest number of jobs to the local government elementary and secondary schools industry (9,704), followed by California (7,294), and New York (6,733).

On the other hand, Maine added the least number of jobs (-325), followed by Mississippi (-10), and Rhode Island (7).
