According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2021, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government elementary and secondary schools industry (3,728), followed by Illinois (3,089), and New Jersey (1,830).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-22,987), followed by Ohio (-5,561), and Pennsylvania (-1,763).
