According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in January, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government elementary and secondary schools industry (24,619), followed by Vermont (1,753), and Maryland (881).

On the other hand, New York added the least number of jobs (-11,516), followed by New Jersey (-4,197), and Illinois (-3,871).
