According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government elementary and secondary schools industry (186,528), followed by New Jersey (124,521), and California (98,918).

On the other hand, Mississippi added the least number of jobs (1,004), followed by Georgia (1,517), and Nevada (1,880).
