According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July, 2019, North Carolina added the highest number of jobs to the local government junior colleges industry (), followed by Texas (600), and Nebraska (180).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-15,061), followed by Oregon (-2,108), and Arizona (-1,416).
