According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2020, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government colleges and universities industry (5,381), followed by Oregon (1,850), and Maryland (27).

On the other hand, South Dakota added the least number of jobs (-18), followed by Oklahoma (-2), and Virginia (0).
