According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, Georgia added the highest number of jobs to the local government social assistance industry (), followed by Montana (), and Louisiana (979).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-96), followed by Tennessee (-75), and Ohio (-68).
