According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the local government food services and drinking places industry (557), followed by Tennessee (336), and Connecticut (111).

On the other hand, Mississippi added the least number of jobs (-2), followed by Washington (3), and Idaho (7).
