According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2019, Minnesota added the highest number of jobs to the local government executive, legislative and general government industry (2,267), followed by Wisconsin (1,578), and Florida (620).

On the other hand, Georgia added the least number of jobs (-2,241), followed by Michigan (-1,572), and North Carolina (-1,233).
