According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in December, 2021, Minnesota added the highest number of jobs to the local government executive, legislative and general government industry (2,122), followed by Illinois (1,128), and Wisconsin (820).
On the other hand, New Jersey added the least number of jobs (-1,756), followed by Georgia (-1,753), and Virginia (-1,600).
