According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May, 2020, Massachusetts added the highest number of jobs to the local government justice, public order, and safety activities industry (229), followed by Texas (178), and Pennsylvania (68).

On the other hand, California added the least number of jobs (-770), followed by Virginia (-480), and Louisiana (-364).
