According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in June, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the local government administration of environmental programs industry (1,346), followed by California (1,009), and Pennsylvania (576).

On the other hand, Maryland added the least number of jobs (-250), followed by North Carolina (-1), and Mississippi (2).
