According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in August, 2021, California added the highest number of jobs to the private trade, transportation, and utilities industry (9,036), followed by Texas (7,789), and Arkansas (3,016).

On the other hand, North Carolina added the least number of jobs (-5,837), followed by Virginia (-2,067), and Massachusetts (-1,722).
