According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, New Jersey added the highest number of jobs to the private logging industry (), followed by West Virginia (), and California (191).

On the other hand, Maine added the least number of jobs (-448), followed by Minnesota (-307), and Idaho (-245).
