According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2020, Alaska added the highest number of jobs to the private oil and gas extraction industry (27), followed by North Dakota (23), and Ohio (17).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-482), followed by Colorado (-117), and Louisiana (-112).
