According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in March, 2021, Ohio added the highest number of jobs to the private oil and gas extraction industry (51), followed by West Virginia (21), and Montana (11).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-1,199), followed by Oklahoma (-193), and Pennsylvania (-62).
