According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in November, 2021, Alaska added the highest number of jobs to the private oil and gas extraction industry (28), followed by Pennsylvania (22), and West Virginia (19).

On the other hand, Colorado added the least number of jobs (-81), followed by Louisiana (-46), and Wyoming (-34).
