According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in April, 2019, New York added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, except oil and gas industry (480), followed by Pennsylvania (398), and Michigan (245).

On the other hand, Nevada added the least number of jobs (-161), followed by Alabama (-134), and Texas (-93).
