According to recent data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in September, 2019, New Mexico added the highest number of jobs to the private mining, except oil and gas industry (30), followed by Louisiana (23), and Tennessee (20).

On the other hand, Texas added the least number of jobs (-179), followed by Minnesota (-167), and Nevada (-157).
